Steven is home!! It took a while to get this post up... but it still happened :) we are so happy to have him home!! Grandma and Grandpa Jim came down for christmas and for Steve to come home. It was such an exciting thing to have him come home!

Lisa, Michael, Paul, and Joseph all got their tonsils out in the month of August. Yes, all four at the same time. it was great fun. Michael got it done then ten days later the other three finished the month off by getting their's taken out. It was a good thing Stacey was around to help out. It would have been super hard without her. Thank you Stacey.

These are a couple pictures for the fun times at the hospital.

Also, Grace started Dance at The Pointe in Highland and is having so much fun with that!

We had a ton of fun today! it's starting to get colder outside. So we decided to go to the park one last time before it gets too cold!

Alpine has a huge new park by the grade school. So this is the park we went to! It is so much fun!!!

Jacob... the newest in the family

At the ACN convention in Charlotte NC. Mom dad and leslie got woken up by the Marriot hotel's fire alarm. Dad called the front desk they said yes everyone out of the hotel. We grabbed the babies, the frozen breast milk, diaper bags and wallets and ran! We all looked great :) we were proud of ourselves we were out before the fire trucks got there! and we were out of there on time for our first meeting. The prefect wake up call!

Just a little bit of exciting news... This last week mom bought the tickets for all the girls to go see twilight opening night at midnight in salt lake! We are all so excited for it now to be a movie so we can see it come to life!

Its been a crazy couple of months. Sorry about the no blog Grace dropped the camera into the tub. So like her... During Spring Break our family and the Bastian's went to the Zoo! super fun! while Stacey was in disneyland, we wanted to do something fun too! So that should answer your question, we had tons of fun!!!

It snows everyday here in the DESERT!!!

When you wake up in the morning and look outside, you hope to see a sunny morning with blue skies and white fluffy clouds... Not here in Utah!!! It has snowed everyday for the pass week!!!! Not even kidding you! After we finally got done with shoveling the driveway we had to start all over again because the snow won't stop coming down!! They canceled church today, so everyone could go out and help people dig out from the sheets of snow that came down last night. We had another 10 inches last night. Our front flower beds will never get flowers because they are covered in about 6 feet of snow. Some cars couldn't even make it up the street it was so bad. The snow plow came by about 1:30, but 10 minutes later it looked like it didn't even come at all. Dad looked outside this morning and he couldn't even see the stairs in front of the house, just looked like a hill!! everyone is hoping for a snow day tomorrow so we can play outside and have tons of hot chocolate! (poor craig and his low car, the snow plow felt sorry for him not being able to get up the driveway and dumped about half his load of salt for craig to use, that was after the Rassmussons towed him up our street).

During the Christmas dad took Stacey, Lisa, Michael, and Paul skiing. It was so much fun. When we came back from the long day, we saw that a HUGE truck was parked next to our car. it was so crazy, so we just had to get pictures.

We found a great lady in Salt Lake who has her own salon and she does house calls. Maya and Grace have their new winter hair! We took her to look in the mirror and she screamed! Because she knows how cute she looks. We could be in for trouble. She does look cute thought. And we are saving hours of tears everyday brushing her hair out. It will stay in for 2 to 4 months. AND NO GREASE!!!!!

Baby Isaac

Isaac Matthew is finally here! And he is beautiful, as you can plainly see. He was born at 4:34pm on Wednesday, November 28, 2007. He weighed in at 6 pounds 5 ounces; 19 inches long. His little spirit has been in our home for months already. We're so excited to welcome him home on Friday.

Stephanie did a great job bringing him into this world. And biological father Kevin Roque really stepped up during delivery and helped.

We're looking forward to having you meet Isaac when the time comes. In the meantime, enjoy these pictures!

Grace and Emmalee hadn't taken their naps yet, and they were so tired. They fell asleep while playing on the floor.

Sorry that we have not updated the blog in a long time. Crazy stuff has been going on. We are counting the minutes till baby....... grace's brother comes out. And we are waiting and waiting to get a phone call from Stephanie.

Happy Thanksgiving. We have put up the Christmas Trees, on thanksgiving and it was so much fun!!!! Here are some of the pictures that Stacey have taken of Emmalee and Joseph. They are so funny to watch joseph and grace trying to keep Emmalee sitting up and not falling off of the chair. Mommy's little helpers. :)

Just 2 minutes ago stacey walked into the kitchen and came in and told me that Joseph and his little friend maya just knocked over the christmas tree and were throwing the glass balls all over the kitchen floor.

Michael had his play off game and it was wet/cold/rainy/snowy the whole works. Sadly they ended up losing. But it was a great season.

Ground Hogs Day

Today was a very wet and cold day. Dad remembered late last night that Hope had asked him and the family to go to the Cancer walk this morning. So we all got up at 7 to get ready and walk around a park 3 times. It was a lot of fun! We walked around only 2 times because, by the end of the second round the kids started to get tired of walking. After that we went to Dennis Uniforms. (Do not let your kids were uniforms!!!) We needed to get lisa some new clothes for school. We were there for about 2 hours. That was no fun looking at the same thing over and over again. Mom said it was like living a nightmare over again. That is how bad it was. But don't worry we lived through it:) By now it was raining like no other! And we headed to the Dino Museum. that was a blast. We looked around at saw all the different dinos. Mom & Dad just got back from the temple and we are all going to have a little movie night. The fun just continues!!! We still have monday to party. But lisa has school. sad for her!

Fall Break... and No Where To Go!!

The next 5 days we have off of school. Exciting I know!!! but with emmalee still on the oxygen we can't go on a trip like we hoped. We at least thought she would be off by now. But, no she is not. So yesterday we went to Thanksgiving Point to eat lunch. Then we decided to go to the petting zoo! That was so much fun!!! the little kids got to ride horses and they even managed to get them selves into jail, all in one day. They are amazing:) it was so much fun!! We feed goats too!!! That was really fun too! just being there as a family was fun. Dad has the rest of the week off too. So that gives us more time to hang out with him which is really great!!

Emmalee Is Sealed!!

It was friday September 28, 2007. We all went up to the Salt Lake Temple and had Emmalee sealed to us! It was a wonderful thing to be able to go inside the Salt Lake Temple and see everyone in white. Being there was something that no one will forget. It was so powerful to see Emmalee be sealed to mom and dad.

P.S. grace and joe thought it would be funny if they tried to run away. Nice try babies!

Girls Are Gone.... Lets PARTY!!!

Friday... Stacey and Lisa were gone. Stacey went to a girls night at one of her friends houses. And lisa went to St. George with one of her friends. With the girls gone, the boys were able to just be boys and make messes. They made homemade pizzas. Just the way they like them. It was a fun night!

Can't wait to see everyone. At the wedding!! Love you all!

Swimming Lessons

Mom and dad being the wonderful, fun people they are, signed all of the kids up for swimming lessons. All the kids learned tons of stuff! Paul even jumped in the deep end. (the deep end was 7 feet.) It was super fun!! On the last day mom and dad came a filmed us swimming. It was fun to do something this summer.

For dad's birthday he wanted to go to the Copper Mine. But all of the kids wanted to take him to Hill Air Force Base. But, Little did we know that the base closed at 4:30. So we took him to the mine instead. We had a blast up there! And Dad just loved it! After that we took a right instead of taking a left to come back home. We took a drive up Butterfield Canyon. It was a beautiful drive. So went over the mountain and ended up in some other place. Had dinner there then came back home. Tonight we are gong to watch Apollo 13. We took pictures so i could put them up on the blog. As we were driving home see saw a hole bunch of deer. and mom's favorite part was the wild cows. She asked if they were going to charge. It was funny.

Three Strikes Your.... OUT!!

Yesterday at Michael's game they won 10 to 0 it was amazing!!! They ended the game at the 4th inning because they were so far ahead. They did not want them to win by 20. Michael got 5 of the 9 outs at first base. He has another game on Saturday. The pitcher is going to be gone so that means that Michael will be most likely to be pitching. His game is going to at 6 o'clock on Saturday.

Today we had a great breakfast the mom made for all of us. It was very good and everyone enjoyed it very much. Dad read us a little paper that told us about what happened on the 4th of July. It was fun!!

The kids all decided it was time to do the Slip `n Slide at 5 o'clock at night. After the baseball game. Still 90 outside m&d let them do it while they finished the fence. The Bastian kids all came over and we all played. Joseph and Maya are still out there trying to do the "Tunnel"

Today Michael had an Allstar's game. They won 10 to 4! To the best team in the league! wow! Michael was the picther for 4 innings. He was amazing! He only gave up two runs. Can you say amazing... i can! He is the best picther on the team! It is so much fun to watch him play. He has another game on the 4th at 4:15 so call about 7 our time and ask how it went!

Summer Time!!

Michael is so SWEET!! He told Craig that he would watch his dog for him while he went to work. So he is setting under the slide with the dog.

Now that Summer is here... we have decided to get the Slip`n Slide out and have all of the kids from our ward come and slide down our hill. And this can all happen for a very small price of 5 bucks a person. ;) At 90 degrees almost very day it is nice to be able to get a little cool down from the water. There are 14 kids that have decided they were too hot and needed to cool off at the Evans' house! And still more coming!

(Bri do you remember when you would charge people to do the Slip`n Slide?) ((Hope it brings back memories!))

Yippie I now eat 6 ounces at 11pm and sleep until 7am my mom and dad in their golden years can now sleep like all of their old friends.
